As we move through our day, we send energy into the world and we receive energy back. Our minds, bodies and spirits are composed of energy, which vibrates out and is felt by others. Those vibrations resonate within us and impact our own energy stores. Learning the power of positivity assists us to remain in a positive state of mind even in the midst of adversity

1. Surround yourself with positive people.

Hanging out with positive people will certainly help you stay positive. You should avoid negative people because negativity is energy draining *it sucks the good energy* You can’t expect to attract good energy if you’re giving off loads of negative energy. Think about the kind of vibes others get when they spend time with you. Do you exude a sense of peace, calm and happiness? Or are you gloom and doom? Do you add to the negativity? Or do you blanket it in awareness?

Negative energy is bound to impact your relationships. It may be subtle, but the attitude you approach others with will generally be reflected back at you. What impression do you make on people?

2. Gratitude.

In negative situations, we tend to find ourselves thinking of the good things in our lives. You should voice those good thoughts and practice gratitude. Develop a culture of talking about the good things that happen to you other than focusing on the bad ones. Also, it is ideal to keep a journal of all the good things that you have done on a daily basis. By acknowledging what you are grateful and thankful for will help you nature a grateful heart and mind, even in adverse situations.

3. Be kind to people.

By being kind, you will not have time for negative thoughts. Do various acts of kindness every day. This will keep your positive energies running high. Besides, flowing good energy will also come back to you.


Negativity is everywhere. You will most likely find negative people in your day to day interactions. It is important to transform yourself into a positive thinker since you will end up living a happy and healthy life. Be positive, and life will be positive with you.
