Somatic Therapy

An Integrative Approach

What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy emphasizes the connection between the mind and body in the healing process. It recognizes that emotional and psychological issues can manifest physically in the body.

Somatics allows  you to discover how to channel the energy that radiates from a state of alignment, how to connect the points of your experience into a coherent whole that resonates with clarity and purpose.

YOur Well-being Coming From Within

Our thoughts, beliefs and attitude influence our overall sense of wellbeing resulting in a complex relationship between body and mind. Mental state, either conscious or unconscious, has a physiology attached to it with either a positive or negative associated feeling felt in the physical body. We may have a situation that causes a visceral reaction and have no idea why we are reacting.

Somatic Movement is an inherently holistic approach, simultaneously working on the body, mind, and spirit. We consider your whole being; characteristics, preferences, needs, spiritual beliefs and motivation. Then, customize your session to help you heal a wound, conquer your fears, boost your self-confidence, and bring your mind and body into sweet harmony. Most importantly, we bring back the vital life force within you, so you can gradually improve every aspect of your life.
